We had a near perfect 2018 race day in Taupo, setting the stage for a stellar 2019 event, with the venue set to host the 2020 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships.

There are qualifying slots to the 2020 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship right here in Taupo!
The event has been well established in Taupō for 11 years, with 2015 introducing the inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 Taupō, that has become a course to rave about. We’re back in Taupo in 2019 for another fantastic event experience.
The 1.9km swim is located in the pristine fresh water Lake Taupō, the 90km bike rolls through New Zealand’s renowned rural landscape and the 21.1km run takes in the picturesque lake lined with spectator and local support.
