Bog Commander Mud Run & Obstacle Race – Buxton, United Kingdom
Bog Commander is a muddy adventure race in the Peak District. Who says you have to grow up ? Rally your mates and come and have fun around our 6km obstacle course set in spectacular, but challenging countryside. We’ve been going since 2014 and this is where we live and work. Mother Nature will be laying on thick bogs, icy stream crossing and tricky terrain, whilst man made obstacles dotted around the course will add to the fun factor.
We’re often asked how many obstacles are there? Truth is, just the one and it’s 6km long. The whole course is a challenge and whether you do one lap, two laps, or even 5 laps, you will be earning that medal and technical T shirt. Can you boss the weaver? Dare you take on the death slide? Will you accept the challenge of our cargo climb across the river? Will you emerge from our watery tunnels unscathed ? We own the land the course is set over, so this isn’t an obstacle course that has been built in a few days. In fact, it has taken Mother Nature thousands of years to create those bouncing bogs, so you can feel just what a hug off Mother Nature is like.
Your entry fee includes parking, chip timing, bag drop, changing room and a medal and technical T shirt at the finish line. So there is nothing else to pay for.
Don’t like running ? Don’t worry, there are lots of people who take their time around our course and yes …… they walk a a fair bit of it. It really doesn’t matter, as long as you finish. There is also a family wave at 12:00 where children aged 12 and up can take part on the full obstacle course with a parent or guardian accompanying them.
Spectators are very welcome at no additional cost.
Entry price is just £43.00 until the end of July. After that time, the price will start to increase as we get closer to the event. Don’t worry, we’re not the sort of people to cancel on you last minute ….. we own the land, we live here and we’re committed. Question is …. Are you ?
